Established in 2005, Kinetic Investment Partners (Kinetic) is a boutique manager offering specialist investment strategies in Australian Equities.
Kinetic’s founding principals’ Richard Sharp and Jonathan Findlay, have worked together managing smaller companies portfolios since 2003. In 2005 they established Kinetic Investment Partners. Fidante Partners (a part of Challenger Limited) provided initial support to Kinetic along with being the Responsible Entity for the retail offering – the Kinetic Emerging Companies Fund.
Australian Small Companies Strategy
Through the Smaller Companies Strategy Kinetic seeks to invest in those small companies that it believes are undervalued on a cash flow return on investment (CFROI) valuation methodology.
Kinetic Emerging Companies Fund
This is a unitised fund using the Australian Small Companies Strategy. The Fund aims to outperform the S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Accumulation Index over rolling five-year periods.
Kinetic conducts detailed fundamental research coupled with a comprehensive risk management approach for both Strategies and the Fund.
